This popular workshop will give you an introduction to upholstery techniques, to revive tired furniture with beautiful fabrics. Our very talented and experienced upholstery tutor, Nicky, will talk about design, colour and fabrics before guiding you through the upholstery process. You’ll need to bring along a piece of fabric, as well as a portable piece to upholster; a dining chair, ottoman, headboard or stool are all perfect. (Nothing too large please!) Please call/email if you have any questions at all. Or if you prefer, we can provide a piece of furniture and fabric at extra (very reasonable) cost! You will leave with a gorgeous new upholstered item, detailed instructions and the skills to revamp the rest of your home! Please bring a packed lunch for the day or there are some lovely cafe’s around if you’d like to pop out. (tea, coffee and soft drinks will be provided). Additional materials available and charged at cost on the day.
